The advent calendar for Tuesday revealed a “special visitor”, none other than our own Mrs Queally. The children were thrilled to see her and update her on all that they have been doing since she left. We look forward to lots more visits from her in 2022
The school was lucky enough to win a Christmas annual for each of the children in the senior room this month. The Siamsa and Sonas annuals have always been a Christmas staple and may bring back memories for many of our parents who spent happy hours on their activities in days of Christmas past.
Children in the senior room this week begin their mission to learn about the countries of the world. They will each be choosing a country to learn about and complete projects on. As a country is completed, it is coloured in. We can’t wait to see the map become more colourful as the year progresses!
Here are a sample of the wonderful projects and some of the children making their presentations
Tuesdays advent calendar revealed Christmas crafting. The children in the senior room worked on 3D Christmas stars and candle holders, while the junior room made cribs and festive Christmas cards. What a display of talent and creativity!
