Our Garden of Remembrance display will be left at the church for the month of November. Members of the community are invited to choose a handmade flower, write the name of someone in heaven they would like to remember and add it to the display.
Some of the artwork from the senior room proudly displayed at the Burren Winterage Weekend!
School reopens Monday 6th November
Children in the senior room explored the famous extract from Shakespeare’s Macbeth – ‘Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble’ from the Witch’s Song and created some wonderful artwork to depict the poem to celebrate Halloween!
Children from 3rd-6th enjoyed their fun blitz in Kilfenora!
Today we were fortunate to have a webinar with Lukasz from SEAI.
Lukasz spoke to the children about saving energy and introduced the children to Guzzler!
We also carried out an experiment with Lukasz, we made A Balloon Rocket!
Well done to the girls football team (paired with New Quay and Ballyvaughan schools) at their recent blitz in Lisdoonvarna. They narrowly missed out in a place in the semi-final and we are very proud of them.
Well done to the boys football team (paired with New Quay and Carron schools) who are off to the semi-finals after a great display of teamwork at their recent blitz in Doonbeg! A special mention to Tadhg who was an excellent captain for the blitz and great ambassador for our school.
The children in the junior room planted Daffodils, Snowdrops and Crocuses.
We also planted some conkers!
We will watch and wait!
