Today we went on a fieldtrip to Kilnaboy & Mullaghmore!
What an interesting day we had!
First stop: Old Kilnaboy Church
Here the children had to locate different items from a list.
We located a Sheela Na Gig, a Latin headstone, a round tower, a mason’s mark to name but a few!
Next Stop: Burren National Park
Many thanks to everyone who dropped off clothes, curtains etc for our collection.
A total of €211.40 was made.
We will commence work with Sara Foust on Thursday May 15th on our Burren Mosaic Mural!
Keep an eye on the website for photos of our work!
Our finished piece will be on display in June!
We are having a clothes collection on Tuesday 13th May.
Any unwanted clothes regardless of condition are accepted!
Shoes, curtains, bed linen, cuddly toys etc are all welcome once they are clean!
Before our Easter holidays, we planted two potatoes.
On arriving back to school, we were greeted with lovely sight! Our potatoes had commenced growing over the holidays! Amazing what can happen in just 2 weeks!
We decided to transplant one potato into a bigger pot and leave inside the school.
We put our second potato outside in our school garden.
We will continue to watch our potatoes to see what happens!
